Considering the degree of special A-class fame in modern times, it is hard to imagine, but Bach did not come into the limelight for a while after his death.In the 18th century, the name “Bach“ meant only his sons Emanuel and Christian.Musicians such as Mozart and Beethoven studied his music, but as the times progressed and musical styles changed, he was rarely published and generally became a forgotten composer.
