Carl Czerny
1791-1857
Austrian-born composer. From an early age he showed musical talent and gave occasional concerts, but he never pursued a career as a pianist, and later worked as a piano teacher and composer for the rest of his life.
Among modern piano learners, Czerny is known such as a
composer of 《30 études de mécanisme (Etudes No. 30)Op.849》 and 《School of Verocity (Etudes No. 40)Op.299》. It is not well known that he works in all genres, such as works, piano variations and character pieces.
In addition, Czerny’s name was known both at home and abroad as a wonderful piano educator, and applicants for apprenticeships(ncluding Liszt and Thalberg.) gathered from all over the country.
