overview
A suite composed by Liszt for his granddaughter. Some of the pieces use Christmas carol melodies that we are familiar with, making this work easy to relate to. Also, considering the list (lol), there are many pieces that are relatively low in difficulty, rather than works of extraordinary skill, so it is recommended for people of a wide range of skill levels. It has a gorgeous and beautiful finish that is typical of Liszt, and can be used in concert repertoire.

comments・how to practice
1.Psallite – Old Christmas SongC1
The contrast between the heavy parts played with octave accompaniment and the light and clear parts played in the higher register is fun and beautiful.
2.O Holy NightB2
A slow, simple melody continues. Pay attention to the moving voices and listen carefully to the changing sounds like a chorus.
The difficulty level is low, but you need to be able to reach the octaves.
